[Kozu Beach]
Locating in Odawara city, Kanagawa.

By train - get off in Kozu Station, Tokaido Line.
It takes less 10 mins by foot from the station, quite reachable.
Yellow mark is the fishing point.

By cars, you must park your car at proper parking.
My recommendation is nearby Kozu station, big parking is available and the cost is reasonable.

Come in this corner, Route 1.

Highway running along the sea.
This highway named "Seisho Bypass" which connect Oiso town to Odawara city.

This beach is quite popular for Surf-Trolling and jigging.
During summer season July - Oct, so many "trolllers" and jiggers visit here.
Local guys stand-by from 4 am to secure good place, though it's still too dark to see.
For beginners, you may better take little distance from high-frequently-anglers.
Especially, old uncles get fish for his life, not fun only.
Well, let's start the game.
The tackle of Surf-Trolling as below.

Very simple, low cost, easy to set up .
You don't need much investment for initial activation, just release less JPY 1,000 only.

Top 2 popular target
Bonito
Yellowtail

Mackerel is most available.

Sometimes, we can meet Mahimahi.
My friend got over 1 meter's by jigging.

For non-trollers, non-jiggers, you can enjoy bait fishing.
Moonfish, sardine, flatfish, sand borer and so on.

Lastly, I get you my favorite Italian resto near Kozu beach.

Just 5 mins by car from Kozu beach, go straight along route 1, seeing the see on your left.

You may miss the signboard, be careful. ( I missed few times,,,oooops)
During lunch time, long queue will always welcome you.
